2018

I think my art will have to sum up the years that has passed. I'm glad they are behind me in that sense I don't regret them but they were hard. 








I'm a do-er and even though at times I've had this feeling that my life isn't mine and I'm something of a Sims character it's been amazing in terms of life lessons. I've really had to check out my ego at the door and focus on the important things in life. Me returning here is just a sign things are getting better and I can squeeze in me-time again. 

These last few years I've written two books, I'm writing on two more, also working on 3 comics and still making art. Please note: I couldn't help writing and creating in this time but I didn't have time to find a publisher or editor or anything, I've just been creating stuff because I needed to.

With the lack of time and focus I'm amazed I've actually never stopped participating in art shows, most recent was this December 2017, the fun popart groupshow at Giant Robot Gallery in LA. It was an invitation only group show where the artists had to paint or draw on post-it's that were all sold at the same prize. Matt Groening, founder of the Simpsons, had a couple of pieces there as well as my pop realist painter friend Linnea Strid and a lot of my favourite artists were participating too. I sold something too, it was great. That kind of stuff humbles me a lot. I've had zero time on my hands to keep up networking and planning, but in the end lady luck sometimes smiles on me too


Oh time to fix some breakfast. I'll return. Not every second year like before Soon. How've you been?
