Goddess Revived

First I thought she died by drowning.
Then the jewel on her forehead began to glow,
and blood poured from her rose down into her eye.

That has to be uncomfortable I thought to myself,
but then the red petals fell from the sky,
and I understood that these are the things that revive her.

So in fact,
perhaps that reflection in the water is not the moon,
perhaps it is her knight in shining armour,
pouring petals on her so that she can blossom once more.

So I call this piece "Goddess revive",
it only took me a couple of hours to make,
because I am not really known for my splendid patience...
Also, I practice my digital skills (or lack thereof)
